At our surgery we offer both face to face and telephone consultations. A number of appointments are pre-book able from up to 2 weeks in advance and are available online.

Please telephone the surgery from 08:30 to make an appointment for a routine 10-minute consultation.

You may also book online via the link at the top of this page. Before you can start using Systmonline you will need to be provided with a unique login username and password which you can obtain by contacting the surgery.

Please bring identification with you to register for online.

Telephoning the Surgery

We receive calls from 08:30 to 13:00 and again from 14:00 to 18:30. Between 13:00 and 14:00 our calls are diverted to an answering machine. If you have an emergency at this time please listen to the message advising you what to do. Please telephone the surgery as early as possible to book an appointment and after 10:00 for general enquiries and after 14:00 for test results on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays.

Extended Hours

Our extended hours clinics are available with a Nurse or GP on:

Friday morning at 07:30

Wednesday evening, 18:30 – 19:30

How to see the Practice Nurses

Our practice nurses and our healthcare assistants provide a wide range of services. These include asthma, COPD, diabetic and coronary heart disease clinics, family planning checks and advice,  vaccinations, wound care and dressings, removal of stitches, baby immunisations, gynaecological tests, blood pressure, new patient health checks, weight and diet advice.

Please advise the receptionist on duty which service is required so we can ensure you are booked in with the appropriate nurse.

We hold a nurse led minor illness clinic on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons, subject to the availability of nurses. Appointments are bookable on the day.

Need to see someone about bone, joint, or muscle problems?

You can now see a specialist physiotherapist at this GP surgery without seeing your GP first. The physiotherapist will assess your symptoms and offer specialist advice, referring you for a course of physiotherapy or another service if needed. If you are suffering with the following problems you can self refer via online booking (if you have registered for online services) or by booking through reception:-

Neck and spine - Neck pain, back pain, sciatica

Shoulder - Shoulder pain, shoulder dislocation

Elbow - Tennis/golfers elbow, elbow pain

Hand and wrist - Wrist pain, finger pain, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome

Hip - Hip pain, groin pain, pain when walking

Knee - knee pain, swelling, pain when walking

Foot and ankle - Foot pain, ankle pain,, ligament sprains


If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
